US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, visited the Kosel on Wednesday, 13 Sivan as part of her stay in Yerushalayim. She was accompanied by Deputy Ambassador Jon Lerner and they were escorted by Rav of the Kosel and Holy Sites Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovich and Director of the Kosel Heritage Foundation Mordechai Suli Eliav.

The ambassador was well-received by the crowd at the Kosel and she returned the warmth, “I am very moved by the warm attitude that the Israeli public is giving me. I do not deserve it. I am just telling the truth. It hurts very much that only now, after many years, is the truth stated openly.

The ambassador then spent significant time in prayer at the Kosel.
