YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Yaakov Bistritz ZATZAL, the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah of Montreal, who was Niftar over Shabbos.
He is survived by his wife and many children and grandchildren.
The Levaya will be held tonight at 10:45PM at Bais Hamedrash of Yeshiva Gedolah Merkaz Hatorah Tiferes Mordechai.

Baruch Dayan HaEmes. Klal Yisroel has lost a truly special Jew. A Talmid Chacham, an oheiv Yisroel, a teacher of Torah and yiras shamayim who inspired hundreds of students. Yehei Zichro Boruch.

What a tragedy & what a loss to all of klal yisroel
May his neshama have an aliya.
He was very young, nebech, 58 years old.
He had grand children too.
Today, Sunday, the family will be sitting shivah at 59 Bates Drive in Monsey, NY. From tomorrow until Wednesday, the shivah will take place at 2572 Ekers, between Wilderton Avenue and De Vimy, in Montreal.

The Levaya in Eretz Yisroel will be taking place at approximately 2 PM in the Ponevezh Chelka in Bnei Brak.
