Monsey: Fatal MVA In Wesley Hills

amb.jpgAt about 10:30 PM on October 21, 2013, the Ramapo Police department received a call for a car that had driven off the road in the area of 42 Willow Tree Road in Wesley Hills.

Responding officers found the car off the road and into an area with thick shrubs and brush. The officers gained entry into the car and found that the driver was not breathing and had no pulse.

Rockland paramedics and Spring Hill Ambulance had arrived on the scene and gave emergency medical care to her prior to transporting her to Good Samaritan emergency room, where she was later pronounced dead.

At this time there are no witnesses to the accident and it appears there was only the one car involved.

The Ramapo police department’s accident investigation unit is investigating this incident and the possibility that an underlying medical condition may have been a contributing factor.

The driver was identified as Cecile Destrade of Nanuet, New York. Her family had been notified and was at the hospital.
