On Wednesday, erev Rosh Chodesh Adar, an atzeres tefilla will be held on behalf of Rav Yaakov Yosef, who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer R”L. The main atzeres will be held at the Kosel in the presence of Chief Rabbis Moshe Shlomo Amar and Yonah Yechiel Metzger. The tefilos will be led by Mekubal Rav Yaakov Addis. The atzeres will begin at 4:00pm.
Rav Yaakov Yosef continues to receive chemotherapy in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital while doing his utmost to continue his rigid schedule of shiurim. Due to his difficult condition, some of the shiurim are being aired on different chareidi radio stations.
