    Hi,anyone wanna pretend they’re interested?

    It doesn’t cost me,or you,or the Mods….

    Constructive critique welcome.Just say it nicely!:)

    POEM #1:

    THE ME I’LL ONE DAY BE

    I admire people who think before they speak

    I admire people who speak calmly ALL the time

    I admire people who say everything in the nicest way possible

    I admire people who direct and lead with pleasant courtesy

    I admire people who are a combination of the good in me

    And…what I wish to be.

    I do put thought into my words

    But sometimes my feelings are too visible

    I do try to watch my tone

    But sometimes my feelings are too audible

    I believe in using ONLY refined speech

    But mockery and mistreatment have evoked in me

    That which I yearn to erase

    I have accomplished

    But I strive to accomplish more

    I can’t wait to be…

    THE ME I’LL ONE DAY BE.

    Here’s “Yiddishe Kinder” translated into English.(sung by males,of course) Hope you like it. No musical instruments.

    Problem is I can’t put my name.I don’t mind if someone uses it,so long as they don’t pretend they made it up.(I’ve had that)

    I waste half my life trying to figure out computer stuff my older kids know automatically.How do I get a compressed file into a “post”? Or any article? I can’t copy and paste it here for the life of me.

    A lot of “life” expressions,I know.[What do you want from my life?:)]

    right-click the file and choose to “extract” it. This will make a new file that you can hopefully open and then copy and paste from.

    I find it a BIG ma’alo of posting (here in CR) rather then talking – I can think out & consider each and every word carefully. A lot of times I would write out a long ‘megilla’ ready to post, and decide to delete it at the last minute after careful deliberation. Whereas the mouth is a rapid-fire apparatus, the pen (or keyboard) is a s-l-o-w moving vehicle. Editable & deletable too. I consider this a big benefit of CR-ing, learning to talk with more ‘edelkeit’.

    My thanks go to all who inspired me..

    eclipse- your poems are great! Love that one about being you… its amazing! Keep it up! If someone does not want to read it they dont have to
