Beginning on September 1st, school children in Israel, grades 1-12, will be able to purchase a laptop computer at a subsidized price with 36 monthly payments. This is the result of a deal signed between the Electra Company and the National PTA.

Students will be permitted to purchase a Hasee 10.3 inch laptop. There are 50,000 computers available at the price of NIS 1,436 (39.90 X 36 months). The laptop usually sells for NIS 2,400.
