Today Monday, thousands of boys from local yeshivos along with leading Gedolim and Rabbonim will be gathering at the Bobover beis medrash in Boro Park at 1:00PM for the annual Tehillim Gathering arranged by Tzorchei-Tzibur Haolami – a Misaskim Project, on behalf of all the sick people R”L among Klal Yisrael.
The children will be reciting several kapitlech of tehillim and davening Mincha together. They will be joined by numerous Gedolei Yisrael and mechanchim Including Rav Matisyahu Solomon Shlita, Mashgiach Of Lakewood who will be leading the Tehilim, Rav Shlomo Gross Shlita the Belzer dayan and Rav Yecheskel Roth Shlita Karlsburger Rav who will be leading Avinu Malkeinu and Shelosh Esrei Middos.
In addition, over 150 locations across the globe will be participating through a live international audio and visual hookup. The sites include yeshivos and Bais Yaakovs across the United States and Canada, and places as far away as Mexico, Belgium, England, Switzerland, Manchester and Eretz Yisroel. The primary purpose of this gathering is to pray for all those among Klal Yisrael who are in desperate need of a refua sheleima.
Unfortunately, so many people are sick with terrible illnesses — among them young fathers, mothers and children who are fighting dreadful diseases.
Chazal tell us that nothing compares to the power and effectiveness of the tefilla of young children, and therefore we are appealing to these children in these desperate times of need.
The program will conclude with kabbalas ol malchus Shamayim. Will be said By Harav Tirnauer Shlita, Rav of Shomer Shabbos Shul.
Only children will be allowed into the assembly sites, but wherever you might be at that very special moment, take just a few minutes out of your busy schedule to say the six-kapitlech tehillim (13, 20, 79, 121, 130, and 142) [Click HERE for a complete Tehillim] and Mincha and know that your tefillos will join together with the tinokos shel beis rabban throughout the world.
